Colossians 4:5 (KJV) – “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”
Functioning in God’s wisdom means allowing His Word and His Spirit to govern your daily life. It goes beyond knowing what wisdom is—it is walking in it. The Scripture calls us to walk in wisdom toward those who are outside the faith and to redeem the time, recognising that our lives are a testimony of God’s grace.
When you function in God’s wisdom, your words carry weight, your actions reflect Christ, and your decisions produce good fruit. Wisdom helps you respond rightly to pressure, manage relationships with discernment, and maximise every opportunity God brings your way.
Today, make up your mind to walk consciously in the wisdom of God. Let His wisdom influence how you think, speak, plan, and act. As you do, your life will radiate excellence, favour, and divine direction.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Your wisdom at work in my life. Help me to walk daily in Your wisdom and to redeem the time in all that I do.

Nigeria, with a population exceeding 220 million, is richly endowed with natural and human resources, yet faces challenges including insecurity, corruption, economic hardship, and social division. The majority identify as Christian or Muslim, with a rapidly growing youth population in need of guidance, discipleship, and hope. The nation stands in urgent need of wise leadership, justice, unity, and spiritual revival that transforms both hearts and institutions.
Prayer for a Nation – Nigeria
Father, in the name of Jesus, let the wisdom of God be manifested across Nigeria. Cause her citizens and leaders to function in divine wisdom in every sphere of national life.
Prayer for Leaders
Father, in the name of Jesus, grant our leaders grace to function in Your wisdom. Help them to make decisions that redeem the time and promote righteousness, peace, and progress.

Father, in the name of Jesus, release Your wisdom upon Israel. Guide her leaders and people to walk in Your wisdom and fulfil Your divine purposes for the nation.
