DEVELOP A TEACHABLE HEART

Let God teach you through His Word, through people, and even through life’s unexpected turns. No matter how much experience or knowledge you have acquired, there is always more to learn. So, keep your heart open and ever ready to learn.

Audio Version

Proverbs 9:9– “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

A teachable heart is one of the most valuable treasures a person can carry. It is the posture of someone who recognizes that growth is a continuous journey- a heart to learn. Our scriptural text today shows us the wisdom of increasing in learning. It reminds us that the wise are not only open to instruction—they seek it out, knowing that every insight gained can take them a step forward.

True wisdom lies in the willingness to be guided. It does not resist correction, and it does not see guidance as criticism. Instead, it recognizes that every word of truth received has the power to bring increase, direction, and grace.

No matter how much experience or knowledge you have acquired, there is always more to learn. So, keep your heart open and ever ready to learn. Let God teach you through His Word, through people, and even through life’s unexpected turns. As you remain teachable, you will find yourself walking in greater understanding, making wiser choices, and being strengthened for the journey ahead. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION

CUBA

Cuba is a totalitarian state with laws that limit freedom. The country faces significant economic challenges, including a crumbling infrastructure and frequent power outages. Cubans have developed creative means to manage with limited resources, but the government maintains strict control over people’s lives. The country also faces religious persecution, with churches facing surveillance and intimidation. Additionally, there is a lack of Bibles and restrictions to universities and utilities for churches that do not register with the Cuban Council of Churches.
