COMPLETE THE WORK WITH COURAGE

Courage is what keeps us building until the work is done. Carrying it through to completion, no matter the challenges. So, when you feel weary, take the next step in faith Keep building, keep moving, and keep believing, because He will not leave you halfway.

Audio Version

1 Chronicles 28:20 (KJV) – And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

At the start of a new assignment, we often feel excitement and zeal, but along the way discouragement comes, unexpected resistance, slow progress, financial pressure, or even opposition from people. It is at these moments that courage becomes indispensable. Courage is what keeps us building until the work is done.

This is exactly what David reminded Solomon when he charged him to build the temple, the goal was not merely to begin the work with zeal, but to carry it through to completion, no matter the challenges. Starting is often the easiest part of any God-given assignment. The real test is in pressing on when delays, resistance, or lack of resources threaten to stop you. But the same God who called you to start is the One committed to seeing you finish. He has promised His presence, His strength, and His provision, not just at the beginning, but every step until the work is done.

So, when you feel weary, take the next step in faith. When you face setbacks, refuse to let go of the vision. Do not abandon what God has placed in your hands. Keep building, keep moving, and keep believing, because He will not leave you halfway. The One who began the work with you will empower you to finish it, and to finish it well, to the glory of His name. Halleluiah!

Today’s devotional was truly uplifting and eye-opening. As we wrap up, receive these declarations from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:

“I declare, no distraction will stop you, no opposition will break you. With divine boldness, you shall finish strong and complete your work in glory, in Jesus’ name!”

Let us now pray in line with today’s devotional

Start-up Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray for grace and strength to stay focused on my assignment and finish well in Jesus name.

We will now pray for a nation in need.

Nation Focus: Iceland

Iceland, an island nation in the North Atlantic, is known for its breath-taking landscapes and high standard of living. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iceland remains the largest religious body, but surveys reveal that a growing number of citizens identify as non-religious or atheist. While life satisfaction rates are high, spiritual engagement is low, with many disconnected from biblical truth. Still, there are small but vibrant Christian communities seeking God for change. Iceland needs a move of God that restores biblical faith, and transforms the nation from the inside out.

Prayer for the Nation
Oh Lord, awaken hearts to the reality of Jesus Christ, and draw men and women back to the knowledge of Your truth in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders
Father, strengthen the leaders of Iceland with courage to uphold justice and truth in Jesus name.

Prayer for Israel
O Lord our God, we pray that your light continues to shine over Israel, that nations will see and call them blessed.

Prayer for Unity in the Church
Father in the name of Jesus, Lord we ask for grace to Keep our eyes on you and lean on your strength each day.

Prayer for Souls / Revival
Lord, we ask that you awaken our hunger and give us the grace to reach out to souls in Jesus name.
