Prayer is never a waste. A little here and a little there, devoting time to prayer builds up your spirit, and helps you to press into what God has promised in every aspect of your life. Soon your heavens will be filled and it will rain testimonies in your direction. So, do not relent!

Satan understands the power in the prayer of the believer and will stop at nothing to hinder your prayers or to deceive you into stopping. One major way He quenches your prayer life is through guilt, and many believers fall into this trap of the enemy unawares.

Prayer is not just a religious routine; it is a divine opportunity to partner with God. When we pray, we tap into that same power that created the universe and God’s limitless wisdom to cause a change in our own lives or around us. Such is the magnitude of the effect of prayer.

Praying today and stopping tomorrow shows a lack of discipline in the place of prayer. The Bible says we ought to pray without ceasing, emphasizing the need to have a system in place that ensures that we pray consistently and according to a predetermined pattern.

As believers, we have been predestined according to God’s purpose (Ephesians 1:11). When we pray in tongues, our prayers activate and keep us in the purpose of God, ensuring that we live according to His plan.

Prayer is a vital part of our relationship with God. Just as we need to communicate regularly with our loved ones to maintain a strong bond, we also need to consistently connect with God through prayer.

God’s Word is both a weapon of offence and defense for a believer. In times of raging storms and impending devastation, we can release the Word to bring a great calm (Mark 4:39).

The Word of God has the power to sanctify and cleanse us. Thou we live in this world and interact with all of its elements, we are clearly not of this world, and therefore cannot live by the things of this world.
