1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
In life, regardless of the challenges that come your way, you must learn to stand firm in faith. Life will test your convictions, and circumstances may try to shake your confidence in God. However, our opening scripture teaches us to be steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Meaning that no matter what happens, you must remain firm in your commitment to God and His purpose for your life.
There will be times when discouragement will set in, especially when it seems like your efforts are not yielding immediate results. But remember, nothing done for God is ever in vain (Galatians 6:9, Hebrews 10:23). He sees your faithfulness, your labour, and your sacrifices, and He will surely reward you in due time.
Be resolved today no to let anything affect your commitment to God. When faced with trials, delays, or opposition, stay rooted in God’s Word, and keep serving Him with joy. Your steadfastness will not go unrewarded. Say Amen to this.
START-UP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for choosing me. Help me to remain steadfast in my service to You. I ask for grace to serve You with all my heart that regardless of the trials I face, I will not deviate from following you, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CHINA
Though the Church in China is massive, it remains only 8% of the population and is not distributed evenly throughout this vast land. Over 183,000,000 remain unreached by the Gospel and over 500 million are held captive to the mixed philosophies and teachings of Daoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Atheism. As materialism, corruption, and moral decline continue to ravage China, this incredible window of spiritual receptivity might not remain open.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we pray against the spirit of deceitfulness causing the people not to receive the light of the Gospel. By your mercy, pull them out of darkness, that Your will for their lives may be fulfilled in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, we pray that the leaders will place the welfare of those they lead above their own desires, that nothing they do be borne out of greed and selfishness in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, we ask that Your hand of vengeance be stretched towards the enemies of Your people. Cause them to be swallowed up by their own evil plans, that the nations may know Your fear in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause every seed You have not planted in the church to be uprooted and destroyed, that Your people may be united and serve You with all their heart and might in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the salvation of the backsliding. We bind every spirit of coldness and lukewarmness released against them, pulling their attention from You. Restore them oh Lord and let the Glory return to You in Jesus Name.
