BE KIND TO OTHERS

To be kind is to choose understanding over judgment and patience over irritation. It is to look beyond yourself and consider the needs of others. When you choose to be kind, you make room for God’s goodness to flow through you and touch others.

Audio Version

Ephesians 4:32 (KJV) – “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

Kindness is one of the clearest reflections of the life of Christ in us. It goes beyond good manners or polite gestures — it is the fruit of a heart transformed by love. When we show kindness, we mirror the compassion of God, who forgave us freely and daily shows us mercy.

To be kind is to choose understanding over judgment and patience over irritation. It is to look beyond yourself and consider the needs of others. True kindness does not depend on how others treat you, but on who you are in Christ. Every act of kindness releases the fragrance of God’s Spirit and creates an atmosphere where His presence can dwell.

Your words, actions, and responses are powerful. They can restore a weary heart, strengthen someone’s faith, or bring healing to a broken soul. God expects us to be His hands of mercy in a world filled with hardness. When you choose to be kind, you make room for God’s goodness to flow through you and touch others.

Today, let kindness be your language. Offer a helping hand, forgive easily, and extend grace even when it feels undeserved. In doing so, you demonstrate the love of Christ and bring light into dark places. Take a moment to thank the Lord for the opportunity to be kind to others.

What an inspiring word today! As you go forth, take this prophetic declaration from our man of God, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth, with you:

“I declare that the Spirit of kindness rests upon you. Your actions and words will bring comfort, healing, and favour wherever you go.”

Let us now pray in line with today’s devotional.

Start-up Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me to show kindness in all that I do. Let my heart reflect Your mercy and my actions reveal Your love to everyone around me.

Let’s pray for a nation in need!

Nation Focus: Italy

Italy is a land of influence and culture, but many hearts remain distant from God. While churches stand as monuments of faith, spiritual hunger is rising across generations. God is calling for a revival that will move beyond tradition and awaken hearts to the living Christ.

Prayer for the Nation

Father, in Jesus’ name, we speak revival over Italy. Let the light of the Gospel flood every home, and awaken men and women to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.

Prayer for the Leaders

Heavenly Father, give Italy’s leaders wisdom and the fear of the Lord. Remove corruption and raise men and women of integrity to influence the nation for good.

Prayer for Israel

Father, we thank You for Israel, Your covenant nation. Protect her borders, preserve her people, and let Your peace rest upon Jerusalem.

Prayer for Unity in the Church

Father, unite Your Church in purpose and love. Let believers across the nations stand as one family, walking in humility and understanding.

Prayer for Souls / Revival

Father, in the name of Jesus, let the fire of revival burn across the earth. Stir every believer to reach out in kindness and compassion, drawing souls to You through love and service.
