1 Corinthians 10:13 – “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
Many great destinies have been derailed by avoidable mistakes. One of the greatest examples is Samson (Judges 16). He was called to do great things, but his lack of discernment led him into the hands of his enemies. His relationship with Delilah became his downfall. He failed to recognize the danger in time.
In contrast, Joseph avoided the pitfall of temptation. When Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce him, he fled, choosing integrity over pleasure (Genesis 39:7-12). Because of this, God positioned him for greatness. Life is full of pitfalls—wrong relationships, bad financial decisions, distractions, and temptations. Those who achieve great things learn to recognize danger and avoid it.
Today, ask the Lord to help you discern impending traps or dangers so you do no make choices that will hinder your progress. Be sensitive to the promptings of the holy ghost and allow Him guide you in all things. Hallelujah!
START-UP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to apply wisdom in everything I do. Help me discern issues that could hinder my success, in Jesus name.

Though the Church in China is massive, it remains only 8% of the population and is not distributed evenly throughout this vast land. Over 183,000,000 remain unreached by the Gospel and over 500 million are held captive to the mixed philosophies and teachings of Daoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Atheism. As materialism, corruption, and moral decline continue to ravage China, this incredible window of spiritual receptivity might not remain open.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray against spiritual forces propagating idol worship in this nation, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that the hearts of the leaders will be attuned to Your will for the nation, that their systems may align with Your plans, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You cause Israel to prosper exceedingly in this time of crisis, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we ask that You cause Preachers and believers in the Church to synergize in propagating the Gospel, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we bind every force of darkness that hinders the acceptance of the Gospel among those who are lost, in Jesus Name.
