You can war to be quiet by thinking on the word of God and its virtues. Focus your thoughts on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Phil. 4:8), things that will bring praise to God.

He had a habit of seeking God early through prayer. We see this In Mark 1:35 and Luke 4:42.
There is something special about seeking God early, at the beginning of our day. Such a covenant practice sets the tone for our entire day before the busyness takes over.

Fellowship was created by God to help us achieve oneness with Him. It is the only way we can become one with Him, and become all He has destined us to be. Just like every good father wants his son to grow up to be.

The Bible affirms the lord Jesus as the firm foundation. A solid and unchanging foundation. The apostle Paul also tells us in our opening text that Jesus Christ is the only true foundation. He is the cornerstone of our faith, the unshakable rock on which we build our lives. He gives us strength, hope, and stability through every challenge.

Wrong foundations can take the form of false beliefs, sinful habits, prideful attitudes, or anything that contradicts the truth of God’s Word. These wrong foundations can hinder our relationship with God,

Just as a house needs a solid foundation to withstand the storms, challenges, and trials of life, you also need a firm and unshakable foundation to become all that God has spoken of you this year,

Devotion is the practice of setting aside specific and planned time to be with God. It involves dedicating a particular time and period to fellowshipping with Him in your quiet time, just as our opening text implies.

As we stand on the threshold of a new year, it is natural to reflect on the outgoing 365 days and the accomplishments of the past twelve months. It is such a beautiful time to acknowledge the faithfulness of the Lord and reflect on His guidance and mercy all year-round.

No chastening is momentarily pleasant to the flesh (Heb. 12:11), but we must know that it is God’s loving tool to get us into line when we walk out of His will. God is after our restoration,
