Audio Version
1 Chronicles 19:13(KJV) – “Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the Lord do that which is good in his sight.”
Our opening scripture reminds us that now is not the time to slacken. The men of Israel were facing intense opposition, yet they were admonished: “Be courageous. Behave valiantly. In other words, do your part, and let God do His.”
The battle was tough, but their resolve had to be tougher. To be valiant is not the absence of challenges—it is the determination to keep showing up with strength and focus, even when the pressure mounts. It means to step out daily, dig deeper, to refuse excuses, and to keep giving your best where God has placed you.
When you do this, God will do his part by bringing you the victory. Also, your resolve to keep pressing will inspire others to stand firm in their own challenges. Your valiant behavior will be a testimony to the power of God working in you.
Therefore, toughen your resolve. Do not fold your hands because you think it’s too late—press in with more focus. Pick up that unfinished task, push that pending project, or revisit that vision. Act courageously. Give your all. And very soon, you will have outstanding testimonies! Your breakthrough is on the horizon, and your victory is imminent. You will rise above every challenge, and you will shine forth the glory of God. Shout a loud AMEN!
We hope you were blessed by today’s devotional. May the Word of God dwell richly in your heart, and may you walk in the courage and strength of the Lord all the days of your life.
