“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”
Worshiping is a powerful spiritual principle that keeps you burning, the devil does not want you to worship because he knows that he cannot trample on you when you do so. In worship, you open up your spirit in surrender for another to enter.
No man can ever stay long enough under the sun without clothes or shelter and not get hot. Our opening text today shows us that Jesus is the Sun of Righteousness. Therefore, as we surrender in His presence in true heartfelt worship, we would eventually get hot – burning with His fire.
Worship opens you up to the spirit realm almost faster than any spiritual exercise. The worship of God opens up your spirit to Him so that all that He is begins to flow into you. His worship purifies your conscience, purges you and brings you into oneness with Him.
Thus, as you worship the Lord today, just tell him exactly how you feel and move from your feeling to the truth of who He is to you, and the reality of who He says you are. This why the Bible says we must worship Him in spirit and in truth, that is sincerity. (John 4:24)
