“Scriptural Text: Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
What many imply when they speak about having faith is having an expectation or holding a positive outlook on life. Yet, this description does not fit what the Bible shows us to be faith. To have faith is not to be in euphoria because you have just heard the word, or just some form of motivation that fades out with time. Hope is not the same as faith.
When one hears the word of God, he receives hope because he begins to see possibilities. However, many realize that this hope begins to fade as time goes by, leaving them doubting or altogether forgetting all they have heard. It is only when that hope is converted through the process of belief that it becomes faith.
Thus, whenever you hear the Word of God, do not stop at merely hearing it. Go back to meditate on what you have heard, giving diligence to declare the Word over and over, until your heart picks it from your head, and you are able to act out the Word without an iota of doubt. This is the work that you must do every day.
Therefore, keep working on your believing, by meditating on the Word until you truly believe in your heart and act in line with what you believe, then your faith can produce enormous results.

This is indeed a powerful devotional topic.
This is clearly stated the difference between hope and faith. To develop our faith we have to constantly meditate on the word until it consumes every space in our heart. And the bible says in matt 12:34 that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So the ability to declare the word with our mouth is as a result of the dwelling of the word in our heart. This is the process that produces faith in us.

Fear is a natural emotion. We become frightened of the weather, the dark or perhaps our recent financial status. The list of items or factors we humans fear is endless. If we aren’t careful, our concerns begin to control our behavior. Fear makes us feel trapped until we fall at the feet of our Lord and Savior. When we ask for His help in our weakest moments, He will lift us up and comfort our uneasiness.

Unbelief is a negative process of converting hope to Faith, with time hope becomes a mere wish.
All the promises of God is yes and amen. I meditate in the Word to know what God is saying and align my will with His plan and purposes for my life and family.(my needs, the.promises)
After I know what I need, I’ll get a scripture that backs my statement and start declaring it over myself and household daily.. renewing the mind(Romans 12:2) and mixing faith with God.
