“Scriptural Text: James 1:3 (NKJV)
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”
A test is a procedure intended to prove and establish the quality, performance, or reliability of a person or thing. Our opening scripture today tells us to expect several of such in the forms of temptations and trials because it all works out for our own good.
In our walk with God as believers, our faith is tested and tried each time we are on the verge of a new phase/level in our lives. Sadly, however, many believers do not possess the consciousness that they must pass certain tests to secure God’s approval for their next level. So, they complain, grumble, and sometimes quit in the face of adversity, supposing that their trial is working against their success.
Failure to identify or recognize your test situation leaves you in a careless state where you take things for granted. And, those who continuously fail their tests will experience stagnation whereas God intended for them to overcome and take possession of their new level.
Therefore, each time a trying situation comes your way, see it as an opportunity to put your faith to work, by speaking the Word, engaging praise, releasing your sacrifice, and taking that step that the Holy Ghost would lead you to take. As you do this, your faith will emerge stronger and more productive to the glory and praise of God (1Peter 1:7), and you will secure God’s approval for your next level.

🙏 DAILY PRAYER GUIDE
Father in the name of Jesus, give me the wisdom and the courage to pass my tests today, in the name of Jesus!
🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – NIGERIA
Just a little above half of its population are Christians. 13% are unreached with the Gospel, especially in the northern part. Missions vision which was birthed in the 1970’s has resulted in a great revival in nations as Nigerian missionaries is helping lead the way for Africa-wide mission mobilization.
1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit upon the nation Nigeria, and cause the heart of the unsaved to yearn for you in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Dear Father, we pray that the leaders of Nigeria will have a true heart of compassion for the poor and less privileged in the nation, in Jesus name.
🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( [popup_anything id=”5015″] )
Father in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus name.
💒 PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against the Spirit of pride, offense, bitterness, and anger in the Church; and we ask that the spirit of love, peace, and unity will rest on us, in Jesus name.
☄️ PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that your light will cover our nation, that in all places men, women, and youths will begin to hunger for you in their hearts, in Jesus Name.

I refuse to fail my test. God grant me the grace to stay strong and finish strong.
Entaging the weapon of praise and worship during test seasons may seem a bit challenging and dicey, but this seems to be the major spiritually engaging action that will put one in a positive mood thus, becoming blind to the situation. It helps us to pass the test with a happy spirit.
My God the word for today is too loaded as usual. During test times our faith is engaged and our sacrifice should be planted. All these remind me of that popular adage that says there is no glory without a story. Like Christ, God help me to set my mind on the prize not on the process. Help me to stay strong and engage the weapons and ammunitions I need to scale through my seasons of test. Fill me with joy so that I can count it all joy like Brother James.
I refuse to miss out of my test season that will catapult me to my next level. Give me focus and tenacity Lord

Glory to God! For a long time, I have been inclined to grumble in test and trial situations. Indeed, if I allowed that to persist I usually find myself stray from God. But the Holy Spirit is helping me to overcome in times of test and trial, by asking myself “Can God ever be wrong or unfaithful?” Also, he has helped me to refer to the Book of James 1: 2-4:
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
His grace is sufficent for us.
Wow!! Our prophet is always on point as these days are really trying times for many believers. But the good news is that as much as it is a trying time , it is also an opportunity for a lifting for those who will pass their test.
Make up your mind today to pass your test and watch yourself move to the next level. Hallelujah!!
Help us Lord!!
Be strong my beloved!
Thank God for His holy Spirit who nhelps us to triump in test and trial situations. Its definitely not by might or power but by the Spirit of the Lord!
Very true!
Very true. Praise is a true weapon to even speed up our test season and bring us quick result
Those who continually fail their test have signed up for stagnation, no wonder the children of isreal achied in 40years what they should have achieved in 40days… Lord help me to pass my test.

Temptation = Testing of my faith. It is an opportunity for me to demonstrate that I indeed believe what I profess. It is an opportunity to be promoted to the next level, hence I rejoice. Thank You Lord for the wisdom of divine assessment.
Greetings!
Like our Prophet described specifically scheduling out times for our righteous daily living. In my college days, I remember how after “scheduling” my time after which the Spirit of the Lord took over, so much so that even while I walked on the streets, I would pray in tongues under my breath, and I would pray till I fell asleep and find myself wake up in the midnight hour praising and worshipping the Lord!
Thanks to The Maranatha singers, Ron Kenoly, and Panam Percy Paul albums. Praise and worship never departed from my lips, and these kept me PURE and CONSECRATED, living a pure and Holy life for many years!
May the Spirit of our Living God continue to give us the enablement to “Ace our tests and trials” even as we not only render praise and worship, but offer ourselves as living sacrifices unto Him who sitteth upon the throne!
Despite we love the glory and glamour of a new level, we seldom distaste the test, especially a failed test. Know you have to repeat the test again or may not be able to enter that desired level. The thought brings a certain level of unhappiness but kick that devil of despair away and celebrate the failure and begin to look forward for the next as you keep challenging yourself to be better.
Wow! I’m thrilled by the definition of the word test, “It is a procedure intended to prove and establish the quality, performance, or reliability of a person or thing…..it is meant to establish the quality, performance or dependability of a person, it is a procedure designed by God to bring out the best version of you, glory! It’s neither intended for sanctions or suffering, it is a promotional scale that improves on one’s quality of living. Having the right perception of a thing helps guide one’s reactions and responses. Help me father🙏
Thank you prophet of God.

Pass your test and bask in the times of refreshing and upliftment in the Spirit!
Help me O Lord to see every trying situation an opportunity to put my faith to work. Help me to speak the word, engaging praise and releasing sacrifice and allowing the holy Ghost lead me each time.
Amennnnn
Very true but it can really be challenging.
Not every unpleasant situation we face is from the devil and should immediately be rebuked, a test just might be hidden underneath that situation. It is what you do when in that situation that matters. Does the situation weigh you down or your praises, thanksgiving and sacrifices lift you up?
The attitude and disposition of Job when he was faced with difficult times is a great lesson. Help us Father, give me the wisdom to always pass my test🙏🙏🙏🙏

Our lives is all about learning and test. Doing better than today is the key reason for a test.
Learning is what makes you better not just the test. A test is a validator. Have fun learning and then face the test with pride.
Celebrate your success and failure. Relearn again because of your failure.
A test is a procedure intended to prove and establish the quality, performance, or reliability of a person or thing.

Greetings!
I believe if we are in tune with the Holy Spirit by the renewing of our minds, we would be transformed in such a measure that we are abale to recognize when we are being tested and tried. Once that is accomplished and we resort to praising and worshipping the Lord our God, we will be able to overcome every test and trial and receive the promised uplisftment to higher spiritual levels!

I had a different mindset about tests all my life, I thought they were against me or my progress. However the Prophet of God has brought light to my understanding and now I understand that if I want to be elevated, I should embrace my tests and actually ACE them because they came to promote me. Often times God allows us to pass through situations that are supposed to usher us into our next level but sadly many believers do not know this . I used to think that I didn’t have to face challenges because it’s not of God , but God is a master of using ugly situations to brig beautiful testimonies when I realized this I face my challenges wit the Joy of the Lord knowing that I’d be coming out of it an entirely different person. Today’s devotional tell us to Ace our test and word of God James 1: 3 tell us our faith worketh patience, patience is a tool that God uses to make our faith elastic, to last long. This text today shows us a new revelation about our God that he is not only the king of kings or the Father of all spirits but also an Examiner, he comes to test you for every word he has put in your from time to time I.e to confirm you but many of us are never ready that why we dont raise to new levels in our Faith, also its makes it seem God is slow to answer where as we are the once that’s lack the wisdom to discern our timing or Examination time.
Secondly we are not in Awareness of what God is demanding for us at every season because without passing your test there is no promotion
Lastly our response to when we fall into different temptations, sometimes our reply to it or response is a test but we act like the Foolish ones and talk anyhow. From that time we will fail and there will be no promotion.
Thank you Lord

Wowwww!!!!!So blessed by today’s devotional…Just as a teacher would set an assessment to see if effective learning has taken place by the learners, the same thing holds true for God. He would allow us to go through trials and tests as an opportunity for us to reproduce all that we have learnt through the word of the season and our times of fellowship with Him.We would indeed count it all joy when trials and tests come if we see it as an opportunity to make our Master proud.I’m reconfiguring my thinking about trials henceforth…Thank You LORD 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽Thank you my Prophet SirPeace Sekoala_ ZA🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

The process of testing is not always pleasurable infact it’s not …but our approach determines our results
Therefore we must be conscious ..the word of God dresses our minds to pass our tests
Exactly. That’s very true
The spirit of God is the one who reminds us in our test grounds what we should write or practically respond with …if there’s no word ..if there’s no study ..there’s literally nothing for him to remind you of ..hence your continued failure
So at all times we must arm ourselves with the word and pray in the spirit to aid our communication with our helper
As a child of God and a believer Every step of our growth comes with Trials and tribulations, Jesus didn’t tell us it was going to be smooth all the way, that’s why he gave us the word to use when we come across it in life….There’s power in the word and our faith is needed to activate it.

Remain steadfast and determined, even in the face of difficulty or challenge.
We should seek wisdom from God. Ask God for wisdom and guidance as we study and prepare for the test.

My key take on this devotional Failure to identify or recognize your test situation leaves you in a careless state where you take things for granted
Ikeja Lagos
Without situations to tests our faith, Faith is just a confession.
Lagos, Nigeria
Dear Father help me to identify my test situation
Açcadamic tests come with notice but God’s is always without notice or just when you least expect it. Have mercy Lord.
Lagos
Glory to God
Failing to identify your test puts you in a careless state which leads to failure, therefore a stagnant position
I pray in tongues
True sir, no end to the training
Glory to God
The devotional highlights the unfortunate tendency of some believers to complain or quit when faced with adversity, not realizing that these trials are designed to refine and prepare them for the next level. It stresses the significance of being aware and intentional in identifying test situations, rather than taking them for granted.
Being concious of the presence of God at all time will make us not to loose guard .
Lagos
Thanks My Prophet for the devotional.
Satan throws suffering our way in an attempt to bring out the worst in us and shipwreck our faith in the Lord, but God takes our suffering and turns it into a test for good, for our faith is always tested by God in order to bring the very best in us.
I’m so blessed.
This devotional beautifully emphasizes the importance of recognizing and embracing tests and trials as opportunities for spiritual growth and advancement. It reminds us that in our journey with God, challenges are not meant to discourage us but to strengthen our faith.
We should always trust in God’s provision.
Trust that God will provide for you, whether through the knowledge and skills you have acquired, or through His grace and favour.
Ultimately, the main message of James 1:3 is that trials and challenges can produce positive outcomes in our lives.
Thank you so much Prophet🙏🙏

We know now how to tackle situations. Ignorance isn’t an excuse

Today’s devotional offers practical advice on how to navigate these testing times, emphasizing the power of speaking the word, engaging in praise, releasing sacrifices, and following the guidance of the Holy Spirit. By doing so, one can cultivate a stronger and more productive faith, ultimately receiving God’s approval for our next level.
What an amazing topic..
We should learn how to discern and embrace our test..
By embracing our test, persevering through it, seeking wisdom and guidance from God, and trusting in His provision, we can overcome the challenges and emerge stronger and more resilient as a result.

View your test as an opportunity to grow in faith and perseverance.
Instead of seeing it as a burden or source of stress, approach it as a chance to develop resilience and character.
We should also trust in God’s plan and purposes, even if you don’t understand them. Remember that God can use even difficult circumstances to bring about good in your life.
Thank You Jesus

“Therefore, each time a trying situation comes your way, see it as an opportunity to put your faith to work, by speaking the Word, engaging praise, releasing your sacrifice, and taking that step that the Holy Ghost would lead you to take. As you do this, your faith will emerge stronger and more” quite revealing.

Today’s teaching hits me, that every day is a text that I must pass for God’s blessing to manifest in my life.

We should always seek support from our community of faith by surrounding ourselves with people who will encourage and uplift us, and who can offer practical help and advice as you prepare for your test.
Remember that our test is just one small part of our lives, and that our worth and identity are not determined by our performances.
Therefore, trust in God’s grace and love, and do your best with the abilities and resources He has given you.
