“Scriptural Text: Psalm 37:25 (NIV)
“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.”
One thing stands out when we take a closer look at the lives of those who trust in God throughout the Bible. From Noah to Mordecai, or Abraham to Moses, David or Joseph to Gideon to Apostle Paul, we see countless examples of God’s faithfulness. They may be times of uncertainty or great distress, but God always comes through for those who trust in Him.
The beautiful thing about the assurance in our opening text today is that God’s faithfulness extends not only to the righteous themselves but also to their children. In other words, the Father cares deeply for our families and desires to meet their needs as well, even beyond our own lifespan.
However, it is important to note that God’s provision may not always align with our expectations. The Bible says that His ways are higher than ours, and His timing may differ from ours. (Isa. 55:8-9). Many times, He shows up in unexpected ways or leads us through challenging circumstances to strengthen our faith. Yet, through it all, His faithfulness can be seen.
Therefore, when you face the uncertainties of life, remember to hold fast to the truth – God is faithful regardless. No matter how tough the situation gets, He is aware of it, and so long your trust is in Him, He will step in and give you a testimony to the glory of His Name.

I remember the teaching “The Character of God”, where we were exposed to the person of God and His character traits; one of which is “Faithfulness”. Knowing that your God has been faithful from inception till date without failing is enough to build one’s faith and dependency in God. Woww I woke up this morning and I started to read Romans 4 , seeing why Abraham was called the father of faith,He gave the situation to God ,he didn’t doubt ,he decided to trust and I look at the Devotionals and I can’t help but smile because I know this word is for me . If I choose not to trust or have Faith in him ,I loose everything because he’s the Creator of all. I choose today to Trust in his faithfulness.

Woww ,I woke up this morning reading Romans 4 and understanding why Abraham was called the father of faith because he trusted God Completely,no questions asked,He gave the situation entirely to God even before God Made him father of all nations and today I look at the Devotionals it only shows how wonderful God he is. I believe this devotional is so timely because our Prophet was just teaching us about trust a week ago.
God is faithful whether we trust Him or not, it’s His nature and we have seen Him in the lives of many maintaining His faithfulness. He has proven Himself now and again.
