“Scriptural Text: Job 22:29 (KJV)
“When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.”
One of the reasons we have the written Word is to find the right words to say in every situation. In the beginning, the Bible says the earth was without form and void, and we see God speaking life into being. Here we are today in a world so beautifully formed and tastefully furnished by the Word of God.
The Word of God, being eternal and all-encompassing, addresses every aspect of life, in this physical realm and in the spiritual. Where there is scarcity, there is a word for abundance. Where there is a threat of failure or defeat, there is a sure word of victory. This is why our opening text tells us that when there is casting down around you, the word in your mouth should be that of a lifting up.
In the scriptures, there is a light to help you overcome every situation you may face. So, when you study, do not only study for information sake, but for revelation. Dig deeper into the Word to find gems that you would put in your mouth and sling against the enemy, just like David did.
When David was faced with Goliath for instance, he spoke the word, affirming the unassailable greatness in the name of God, not minding whatever Goliath had to say. He had a giant situation before him, but he overcame by faith ever before his slingshot released the smooth stone.
Therefore, whenever your situation is saying something to you that is not in line with what the Word says, you ought to also speak back at it, establishing the truth of God’s Word and thereby reining in the devil. That is how to put your faith in action and win each and every day.

Today’s devotional makes me understand that as believers, we are empowered by God’s word and His promises to persevere through any situation and come out victorious. The Bible tells us that we are to fight the good fight of faith, knowing that we have already been declared winners in Christ Jesus. In times of difficulty and adversity, it’s important to remind ourselves of God’s promises and declare them over our lives. With God on our side,we are more than conquerors and we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

As Christian’s perspective, we have the power to chat our course in life, that’s the power that controls our tongue?.
The word of God have taught me on how to speak the right thing when situation occurred.
As Christian’s we can change any situation or circumstances around us through our confession of our tongues, by speaking the right confession that alignment to the word of God into that.
The Bible says the earth was without form and void, and we see God speaking life into being.
The word we speak should be full of power, not negativity, negativity is not of God is not even allowed as the children of God.
We should learn to use the right word that has life to create things in the absence of life.
In the scripture, there’s a light to help us to overcome every situation you may face.
When David was faced with Goliath for instance, he spoke the word, affirming the unassailable greatness in the name of God, not minding whatever Goliath had to say. He had a giant situation before him, but he overcame by faith ever before his slingshot released the smooth stone.

As believers, we have access to the power of the Holy Spirit who strengthens us and equips us to face life’s challenges. When we encounter difficult situations, we can use our words to speak life and victory, instead of allowing fear and doubt to take over. We can claim the promises of God and declare them with confidence, knowing that His word never fails. When we speak words of faith and victory, we are aligning ourselves with God’s truth and setting the stage for miracles to happen. Let us, therefore, always be mindful of the power of our words and choose to speak life in all situations.

The word of God can never lie
Because it is eternal and all-inclusive, the Word of God speaks to both the spiritual and temporal aspects of existence. There is a term for abundance everywhere there is a word for shortage. When failure or defeat are on the horizon, success is assured. Because of this, our introductory passage advises us to use words of lifting up when there is casting down going on around you.
In every situation, we need the word of God to forge ahead
Every challenge you may encounter has a light to guide you through it. Therefore, as you study, seek revelation as well as information. Find jewels in the Bible by digging deeper to use them as weapons against the enemy.

Words are powerful! There was an experiment conducted some years ago by a scientist. He spoke positive words to a plant in a vase and cursed a plant in another vase daily. After some months, the plant that received the positive words flourish while the cursed plant experienced a stunted growth.
Be mindful of your confessions.

The Word of God, being eternal and all-encompassing, addresses every aspect of life, in this physical realm and in the spiritual. Where there is scarcity, there is a word for abundance. Where there is a threat of failure or defeat, there is a sure word of victory.
There is no aspect of our life that the word of God does not address. Speak the word to that situation today.

There is a way to win everything the devil throws at us and it is with the word of God. We should always learn to dig deep and find words we can speak over that situation.
Oladosu Olanrewaju
Ikeja, Lagos
It fills me with joy and hope that there is a word for every situation.
It is therefore important to know the word for ourselves. So we can apply where needed.
The world itself was formed by the word of God. He said let there be light and the world came to be. The bible tells us that we where created in his image and likeness so that means we also speak the word…The word of God is light, so it means if we speak the word of God over the situation, we are saying let there be light just like our father.
Standing and declaring the word of God is how we enforce the change we want to see.

We see the example of David who spoke the word, affirming the unassailable greatness in the name of God not minding that his enemy was a giant,he stood firm in the face of the great adversity. Even Jesus our master when tempted by the devil spoke the word. So we see that the word has power to silence even the voice of the devil.

Words are powerful weapons available to humans. Spoken Words are powerful and if the word of a king is supreme then the Word of God is super-supreme. The tongue can bring death or life for there’s much power in the word we speak (Proverbs 18:21). If we can create or destroy with what we say, then I can win in all situation with and by the name of Jesus…. Jesus being the written word that I will speak back at to situations that are not in line with the truth of God’s word.

I remember our Prophet teaching us many years ago in a message titled “Soldiers Off Guard”. He revealed how a Christian without the word is like a soldier without an ammunition. The word of God is the priceless possession of a believer. We ought to reach out for it every time we are faced with any adversity. And like David’s slingshot, it always brings down every Goliath.
