“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. “
People who understand the power of charity do not shy away from rendering help to others. In fact, they watch out for the opportunity, because they know that sometimes, all it takes for you to rise is to help the right person.
Sadly, however, many persons are too focused on themselves and their own needs to notice an opportunity to lend a helping hand to others. Some others are only minded to help those they perceive can repay them in some way, yet, the Bible tells us to prioritize those who may not have the means to repay us because this is of greater reward in the sight of God. (Luke 14:12-14).
It is also important to note that the help you render does not necessarily have to be monetary. Sometimes, just a smile, a word of encouragement, or a heartfelt counsel may be all that is needed to inspire someone.
In all, as God blesses you, train yourself to remember others who may not be as privileged as you are. As God promotes you, think about how you can help to raise others up to higher levels, remembering that a man who helps the poor is lending to God, and He will surely repay you in due time (Prov. 19:17).

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for wisdom upon missionaries and the ministers in Monaco, that they may effectively preach the Gospel in the nation, in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will grant the legislators of Monaco, the wisdom to advise the President in the best course of action in all matters, for the good of the nation and not for their own selfish interests, in the name of Jesus.

I really love that place that say monetary, because most people thinks that because they don’t have money to help others they don’t care. Forgetting that you can always help by assistance. Doing good is never a wrong a thing. It is pleasurable as as well. I feel always feel that inner satisfaction when I am able to help someone out of something. I am grateful to God for having to help someone who planned to poison her own children because she couldn’t afford taking care of them. Through the help for God, I got her a job and support her in monetary value as much as I can. Seeing how she loves and take good care of her children now makes me thank God everyday for using me.

Charity is an important part of everyone’s Christian walk
Helping someone implies that the person is in distress and at that particular point, you are in a better position meaning you have what they need at that particular instance. It could be words of encouragement, prayers, financial assistance, a job opportunity, knowledge, food, clothing, shelter, medical aid, legal aid, the list is endless considering how insatiable human needs are. The good news is that whatever form of “help” rendered represents a show of love, a ray of hope, a source of strength, peace, a subtle reminder that he or she is not alone in this world. This is so timely…training our hearts and deliberately noticing the needs of people around us is the key to identifying opportunities to render help especially the under privileged ones in our society. A smile, a word or counsel, a lift and little kindness can bring out someone out of depression, need etc.

This is a very important topic, that all believers should have an in-depth knowledge of. According to scriptures we understand that our giving may/may not be acceptable. So how do we know our giving is acceptable by doing it cheerfully(God loves a cheerful giver), and we must also understand that giving is not in volume (not how much you give) but in value ( the amount you give at your level and your mindset toward giving) we also need to understand that our blessings are attached to our seed. What you sow (give) will determine what you will reap(harvest) I.e God’s prosperity plan for our life is also attached to this( you can’t pray your way into prosperity, you can’t fast your way into it, you work/ give your way into prosperity). Note: we give toward kingdom advancement, prophet offerings, To our parents and to the needy around us( This doesn’t necessarily have to be material things) . Stay blessed. Caroline from Lagos
