(Psalm 90:12 KJV)
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
If you take a poll, and ask a number of persons if they would like to succeed in life or not, the result will not come as a surprise. Virtually everyone would state their desire to succeed. Yet, in reality, only a few do. Why is this so?
Success in every field does not answer to mere wishes
Essentially, success entails doing the important things at the right time, which is ‘prioritizing’. This begins with identifying what you must do to bring your goals into reality and then ordering those requirements into daily tasks that you must perform at every cost. This is priority.
For instance, when you come to the realization that you cannot achieve anything meaningful without God, you then learn to fellowship with Him as a matter of priority. Firstly, this will mean devoting your early hours to fellowshipping with Him, as a matter of priority, which you can do every morning by praying with the Prophet.
Also, in your family, ministry, business, and other areas of your life, what must you prioritize?
Thus, as you set your goals for 2023, begin to also set the priorities right, and highlight what you must do first and at every cost to enable you to succeed in every area of your life. The Holy Spirit is with you to help you.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, help me to finish well this year in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR MALI 🇲🇱
Background: Mali has 60% of its populace unreached with the Gospel. Islam is the largest religion. The Church is taking root, however, the number of Christians has not increased enough to even keep pace with Mali’s rapid population growth.
We are praying for boldness, passion, and a burden for the unsaved to awaken in the churches and for a new wave of evangelism such as happened in the 1980s.
Prayer for Leaders/nation: We pray for the President of this nation that you would grant him grace to know how to unify the country.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6).
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for establishing the church in faith in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your will that no man should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Psalm 90:12
This is a wonderful information
Success in any system does not answer to mere wishes…We have to know how to navigate through what’s;
a)urgent and important
b)not important but urgent(delegate)
c)not urgent and not important(wasters of valuable time) to spending more time in what’s IMPORTANT BUT NOT URGENT because they have long term rewards.
When it comes to prioritizing we can not do away with effective time management which boils down to planning your goals according to their importance and deadline so that you can do them at the right time. Help me LORD🙌🏻
Lord help me to set my priorities right for 2023 Amen
