Anyone who desires to be fruitful in Christ, ought to understand the foundation of fruitfulness. Our scriptural text today reveals a very important foundation. It shows us that fruits are by Jesus. In other words, fruitfulness comes through Jesus. He is the one who makes a man fruitful. Like a branch apart from a tree cannot produce fruits, apart from Him, we cannot be fruitful.
However, to be fruitful, we must maintain the consciousness that Christ is the source of fruitfulness. He is the One that enables us to be fruitful. All that we are and have proceed from Him. And all that we would ever need, will come from Him.
Therefore, be determined to be totally dependent on Him in every way of life. Decide today to prioritize knowing Him and loving Him. It is wise to give attention to Him, because without Him, you can do nothing (John 15:5).
Prophecy 1: Receive grace to trust totally in the Lord in Jesus name.
Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may there be a sudden breakthrough for you in Jesus name.
