THE EVERLASTING DOMINION OF CHRIST

When Jesus died on the cross, He defeated sin and death and rose again in victory. All authority in heaven and on earth was given to Him by God the Father. When you align your life with His authority, submit to His will, and walk in the dominion He has given according to His purposes, you are stepping into something that is eternal and unchanging. Today, choose again to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, living under His authority and stepping forward in the purpose He has given you.

Audio Version

Daniel 7:14 (KJV) – “And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”

When Jesus died on the cross, He defeated sin and death and rose again in victory. All authority in heaven and on earth was given to Him by God the Father. He will return after the rapture to reign for 1,000 years with the saints – those who have died in Christ and those who are caught up to meet Him. Together, they will reign with Him, and after all is fulfilled, the devil will be judged. Christ will then reign forever over all creation with us as heirs of His promise. This is His everlasting dominion, where all things are brought under His authority and presented back to the Father in perfect order and glory.

The everlasting dominion of Christ cannot be challenged, overcome or destroyed; it is eternal, unshakable, and will reign over all things forever. When you align your life with His authority, submit to His will, and walk in the dominion He has given according to His purposes, you are stepping into something that is eternal and unchanging. This dominion does not depend on circumstances or human approval but is rooted in the finished work and everlasting authority of Christ Himself, giving you a secure confidence in the One whose kingdom will never end.

Today, choose again to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, living under His authority and stepping forward in the purpose He has given you. Walk confidently in what He has entrusted to you, knowing your life is anchored in Him. Your future in Christ is secure, and this hope gives you strength to stay faithful, persevere through challenges, and live with joy as you look ahead to sharing in His everlasting dominion.

Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that you are walking in the everlasting dominion of Christ! The authority you carry is backed by His throne. The purposes you advance are His purposes. The dominion you exercise is derivative from His dominion and therefore it is eternal and unshakeable. You are advancing the kingdom of Christ and His dominion shall reign forever, in Jesus’ name!

Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You for the dominion of Christ that shall be forever. I declare that I align myself fully with His dominion and that I exercise the authority He has given me in advancing His eternal kingdom. My dominion is rooted in His everlasting dominion and therefore it is secure, it is meaningful, and it will endure forever. I give my life to the advancement of His dominion in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Nation Focus: Kenya
Kenya, located in East Africa and home to approximately 54 million people, is one of the most dynamic and economically diverse nations on the African continent. Christians make up approximately 84% of the population, with significant evangelical, Pentecostal, and mainline Protestant communities. Kenya is known as a centre of evangelical Christianity and has produced many influential leaders and missionaries serving across Africa and the world. The nation is also a centre of prayer and intercession, with many believers committed to interceding for the continent and for the nations.

Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let Kenya and her Church understand that their dominion is rooted in the everlasting dominion of Christ. Let the nation be a beacon of His kingdom and let her influence extend His eternal purposes in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let the Church in our cities be unified in the understanding that we are advancing the everlasting dominion of Christ. Let our corporate dominion be an extension of His authority and let His kingdom be established through us in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, let revival sweep across our communities as believers recognize that they are walking in the dominion of Christ. Let the lost be drawn to the reality of His eternal kingdom and let His dominion be established in the hearts of many in Jesus’ name.
