Psalm 2:8 (KJV) – “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”
God offers you an inheritance that extends far beyond your personal sphere—He offers you dominion over nations and peoples. This inheritance is not automatic, but it is realized as you faithfully seek the Lord through prayer and His Word, aligning your life with His purposes and the advancement of His Kingdom. As you remain steadfast in His presence, God enlarges your influence and entrusts you with greater realms of dominion for His glory.
The inheritance of the nations is the promise for those who walk in the expansion of God’s dominion through the Gospel within their spheres of influence. The Lord then extends your reach into territories you never imagined, enabling you to influence people and regions you never thought you would touch. Your inheritance is not limited to what you can see or what seems possible by natural means; it is as vast as the purposes God has appointed for your life.
Today, ask God for an inheritance in the nations. As you align yourself in prayer and intercession for the nations, God will grant you an inheritance that extends your influence and dominion into places and over peoples you never expected to reach. Your life will become a conduit through which God’s dominion spreads across the earth.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that you are securing an inheritance in the nations! God is granting you dominion over territories and peoples far beyond what you imagined. Your influence is spreading and your sphere of dominion is expanding to reach nations and peoples for the purposes of God’s kingdom, in Jesus’ name!

Father, I ask of You for an inheritance in the nations. I declare that my dominion and my influence extend far beyond my personal sphere. I align myself with Your purposes for world evangelisation and I receive the inheritance You are granting me over territories and peoples. My life is a conduit for the establishment of Your kingdom across the earth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Ghana
Ghana, located on the west coast of Africa and home to approximately 35 million people, is one of the most stable and relatively prosperous nations on the African continent. Christians make up approximately 71% of the population, with a diverse mix of Pentecostal, evangelical, Catholic, and mainline Protestant churches. Ghana has a strong democratic tradition and a vibrant Christian witness, with many Ghanaian missionaries and church leaders serving across Africa and the world. The nation is also a significant prayer and intercession centre, with many prayer conferences and revival gatherings held throughout the year.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let Ghana receive an inheritance in the nations. Let the dominion and the influence of this nation expand across Africa and the world for the spread of Your kingdom in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, let the leaders of Ghana secure an inheritance that extends the nation’s influence and blessing throughout Africa. Let Ghana become a centre of wisdom and authority among the nations in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let Israel secure the full inheritance You have promised her in the nations. Let the nation’s dominion extend and let her influence bring blessing to all peoples in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let the Church in our cities secure an inheritance in the nations through unified intercession and unified mission. Let our collective dominion extend across the earth in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, let believers in our communities understand that their inheritance extends into the nations. Let revival spread beyond our cities into nations and peoples we are called to influence for Christ in Jesus’ name.
