Psalm 44:3 (KJV): “For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.”
Favour is a spiritual currency that attracts the blessing of God to every area of your life. It is not earned by your effort or your merit; it is the grace of God resting upon you in a way that causes people, situations, and resources to respond to you positively. When favour is upon your life, you do not have to fight for everything; instead everything falls in place for you.
When God’s favour is active in your life, doors begin to open for you. Decision-makers respond to you before you have said a word, resources find their way to you that were never originally yours, and you begin to experience supernatural occurrences of the blessing of God. Favour is the force that achieves in a moment what years of striving could never accomplish.
Today, stop trying to win through the strength of your own efforts; instead, seek God’s favour. Walk into every room, every meeting, and every negotiation knowing that God’s favour goes before you and that His right hand is already working on your behalf. The territory you are called to possess will be given to you through His favour, so position yourself in faith and allow His favour to speak for you.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that the favour of God is going before you right now and winning battles your sword could not win! The light of His countenance is upon you and every door that needs to open is opening. You are possessing your promised territory by divine favour today, in Jesus’ name!

Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You because my victories come from Your favour and not from my own arm. I declare that I enjoy victory today by the light of Your countenance. Your right hand and Your favour are working on my behalf. I possess every territory You have ordained for me by divine favour, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Somalia
Somalia, located in the Horn of Africa, has a population of approximately 18 million people. It is one of the most homogenously Muslim nations on earth, with over 99% of its population identifying as Sunni Muslim. Christianity is effectively banned, and Somali believers face among the highest levels of persecution of any Christians on earth, including death for converts from Islam. Yet a small and deeply courageous underground church exists, and the Somali diaspora across the UK, USA, and Scandinavia has produced a growing community of Somali believers whose intercession and witness are beginning to reach back into the homeland.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the favour of God rest upon every believer facing persecution today. Let that favour cause even persecutors to relent and let supernatural protection surround every member of the underground church in Somalia in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, we ask for the favour of God to rest upon every peace negotiation and reform process in Somalia. Let Godly wisdom find its way into the corridors of power and let the nation begin to move toward stability, freedom of conscience, and the flourishing of its people in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let the favour You have promised to those who bless Israel rest upon every nation that takes a stand with Your covenant people.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let the favour of God rest upon the Church as we engage our communities. Let our projects, our outreaches, and our presence in our cities be met with supernatural receptivity and let doors of influence open that no committee or strategy could have engineered in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, let Your favour cause the lost in our cities to be drawn to salvation in Jesus’ name. [Pray in tongues for 1 minute]
