Isaiah 9:6 (KJV): “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
El-Gibbowr is the Ruler over all government, and the government of your life was always meant to rest on His shoulders. When He governs, what was chaotic finds order, what was stuck begins to move, and what was opposed gives way. He is not a distant ruler who issues decrees from afar; He governs from the inside, as Counsellor, as Father, as the Mighty God who is present in the middle of your situation.
When His rule is established in your life, confusion begins to clear and direction becomes evident. Decisions are no longer driven by pressure or fear, but guided by His wisdom and peace. He brings alignment to what has been scattered and stability to what has been uncertain. Under His government, you are not striving to control outcomes; you are learning to rest in His leadership, trusting that He knows how to order every detail for your good.
Today, submit every area of your life to the government of El-Gibbowr. Do not carry your decisions, your career, your finances, or your family alone; bring them before Him and let Him govern. As He governs, He establishes a life marked by peace, clarity, and purpose. In His hands, your life is not just managed; it is divinely ordered, secured, and led toward fulfillment.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I declare that El-Gibbowr is the ruler over your life! I decree that every chaotic situation in your career and family is brought into divine order. Receive the grace to be the head and not the tail as El-Gibbowr governs through you, in Jesus’ name!

Nation Focus: Portugal
Portugal, a nation of approximately 10 million people at the westernmost edge of Europe, carries a rich history of Catholic Christianity that has shaped its culture for centuries. Yet today, the nation is marked by increasing secularism, an ageing population, and the quiet departure of many from active faith. While a growing evangelical movement is emerging, it remains a minority voice in a predominantly nominal Christian context. Portugal also wrestles with economic pressures, youth emigration, and a spiritual hunger that formal religion has not fully satisfied, making it ripe for a genuine move of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer for a Nation — Portugal
Father, we pray that the government of God would be established over Portugal. Let righteous leaders arise who acknowledge Christ as the true Governor of the nation and who legislate with His wisdom, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders
Lord, we ask that the leaders of Portugal would receive a spirit of servanthood — that they would see their offices not as platforms for power but as assignments to carry the burdens of the people they serve, in Jesus’ name.
