Colossians 1:18 (KJV) “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.”
In the architecture of the Kingdom, there is a divine concept called pre-eminence. To have pre-eminence means to be first in rank, influence, and priority. Jesus is not just a part of the Church; He is the Head. When you give Jesus first place in your life, you align yourself with the primary law of Kingdom success. As you place Him first in your thoughts, finances, and daily schedule, you activate a supernatural order that causes every other area of your life to fall into alignment.
Giving Jesus first place requires a conscious displacement of self. To experience the pre-eminence of Christ in your career, you must be willing to consult Him before your colleagues and your experts. By granting Jesus the lead in your planning, you activate the law of divine order, which ensures that you are never found in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Today, put Jesus first in everything. Move from self-reliance to Jesus-reliance by acknowledging His priority in every aspect of your life. As you intentionally set Him as the Chief Cornerstone of your professional and personal life today, expect to walk in a level of clarity and favour that others cannot comprehend.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I declare that Jesus has taken His rightful place as the Head of your life! I decree that as you give Him pre-eminence, every chaotic situation in your career and family is brought into divine order. Receive the grace to be the head and not the tail, in Jesus’ name!
SECTION 2: PRAYING THE PROMISES
Start-Up Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the privilege of Your Word. I declare today that I give Jesus first place in all things. I displace every idol and every self-centred plan, and I enthrone Christ as the Head of my career, my home, and my finances. I decree that because He is preeminent in me, I shall walk in victory and divine excellence today, in Jesus’ name.
Nation Focus: Paraguay
Located in the heart of South America, Paraguay is often called the Heart of America. It is a unique nation where the indigenous Guaraní culture and language remain vibrant and coexist equally with Spanish. Much of Paraguay’s spirituality is a mix of Catholic devotion and ancient Guaraní animism. Figures like Tupã (the supreme god) are often blended with the Christian God, and belief in folk spirits like the “Seven Monsters” remains in rural areas. There is a great need for a clear, unpolluted Gospel. Paraguay is experiencing a “Technocratic Boom” moving toward significant international trade deals while struggling to ensure this wealth reaches the rural poor.
Prayer for a Nation – Paraguay
Father, we pray for the Anglican, Catholic, and Evangelical churches in Paraguay to work as one. We dismantle the spirit of competition and pray for a national strategy of evangelism that reaches the most isolated and unreached groups
Prayer for Leaders
Father, we pray for those who lead the police and military forces; let a standard of righteousness be raised at every gateway of the nation.
Prayer for Israel
Father in the name of Jesus, let justice be pursued in a way that builds up rather than tears down. May the laws of the land protect the vulnerable and ensure that every citizen is treated with equal honour.
Prayer for Unity in the Church
Father, in the name of Jesus, grant us the spirit of humility to learn from one another. Let no ministry think they have the “whole truth” apart from the rest of the Body.
Prayer for Souls / Revival
Father, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon all flesh. Let our sons and daughters prophesy and let the conviction of the Holy Ghost fall upon the unchurched in our communities today.
