Zechariah 8:21 (KJV) – “And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.”
Speed is not just something we receive from God; it is a posture we should take towards God. When we seek the Lord speedily, we are showing that He is our priority and that we understand the urgency of His presence. A delayed response to the Spirit’s prompting is a form of disobedience. Those who find God are often those who run toward Him with excitement and anticipation.
In these last days, there is a call to not be content with casual Christianity but to burn with the will and desire for God. This holy haste to fellowship with the Lord, attracts the attention of heaven. When God sees a person or a people who are desperate for Him, He meets them halfway with a speed that exceeds their expectation.
Today, don’t just fit God into your schedule; run to Him. Let your prayer time be the first thing on your mind and the most urgent item on your to-do list. As you go speedily to seek the Lord, you will find that the very presence you seek becomes the engine of speed for every other area of your life.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that a spirit of hunger for God is ignited in you! You will seek Him and you will find Him, and His glory will be seen upon you!

SECTION 2: PRAYING THE PROMISES
Start-Up Prayer Father, I thank You for being a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. I choose to seek You speedily today. I set aside every distraction. I pant after You as the deer pants after the water brooks. Fill me with Your Spirit until I overflow!
Nation Focus: Palau
Palau is a beautiful archipelago of over 300 islands. However, there is a subtle spiritual lethargy and moral compromise that threatens the foundations of faith. While the nation identifies as largely Christian, there is an increasing shift toward secularism and a “cultural Christianity” that lacks the fire of true discipleship. The influx of global tourism has brought with it a rise in substance abuse and a gradual erosion of traditional family values. Palau needs the revival fire of God.
Prayer for a Nation – Palau
Father, in the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of spiritual lethargy in Palau. We declare a fresh baptism of fire upon the islands in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders
Lord, we pray for the leaders of Palau. Grant them the courage to stand for moral values amidst global pressure and cause the leaders to be sensitive to the move of the Spirit, leading the nation into a season of divine speed and economic stability.
Prayer for Israel
Father, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We decree that Israel overtakes every plot of the enemy through divine strategy in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church
Lord, we pray for a spirit of oneness in the Body of Christ. Let the Church overtake the agenda of the enemy in the media and in the schools. We decree that the Church moves from a defensive position to an offensive one, catching up with the harvest of souls that has been delayed for decades.
Prayer for Souls / Revival
Father, we ask for a massive wave of salvation. We command the veils of darkness to be torn away from the lost. Let there be a “sudden” conversion of thousands in our cities as Your Word goes forth with power and speed.
