Audio Version
1 John 3:18 (KJV) – My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Words are easy, but God calls us to a love that is visible—expressed in deeds and proven by truth. True Christianity shows up: it feeds, visits, forgives, gives, and comforts. When love moves from talk into tangible acts, the invisible God becomes visible through us.
The measure of our spirituality is not clever speech but compassionate service. Small acts done with sincere love often carry more kingdom impact than great words delivered with proud hearts. Practical love breaks chains, restores dignity, and opens doors for the gospel.
Today, look for concrete ways to put love into action. It might be a phone call to the lonely, a meal for the hungry, a helping hand for the weary, or a forgiving word where offence has taken root. Let honesty, humility, and usefulness mark your service—so others encounter Christ through what you do, not only what you say.
What a powerful time in God’s Word today! As you go forth, hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I declare that your hands will become instruments of God’s mercy. Your life will demonstrate sincere love in deed and in truth; doors of favour will open and many will be drawn to Jesus by what you do.

SECTION 2: PRAYING THE PROMISES
Welcome to today’s Praying the Promises. If you have not read today’s devotional, scroll upwards to read it first. Let us now pray in line with today’s word.
Start-Up Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, make my love practical today. Give me eyes to see need, hands to help, and words that heal. Turn my compassion into action that honours You and ministers life to others.
Nation Focus: Kuwait
Christianity in Kuwait forms a small minority within a predominantly Muslim society. As of 2024, Christians make up about 10–12% of the population, mostly foreign workers from the Philippines, India, and Africa, with only a few hundred Kuwaiti nationals identifying as Christian. Evangelism is prohibited, often leading converts to practice their faith privately. Christians face ongoing challenges including limited worship spaces, and social pressures against public religious expression.
Prayer for a Nation – Kuwait
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for Kuwait: raise up compassionate churches, mobilise believers to practical service, and let acts of mercy become a testimony that draws many to You.
