Psalm 100:1–2 (KJV) – “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”
The demands of life are constant, and the weight of our responsibilities can sometimes overshadow our sense of celebration, making it easy to get caught in routine and forget to pause to acknowledge the abundant goodness of God. We might approach our faith with such intensity that joy seems out of place, thinking that reverence and gladness cannot coexist. Yet our opening scripture today reminds us that they can—and should—be one.
This joy is not a fleeting feeling dependent on circumstances; it is a deep, enduring posture rooted in God’s unchanging character. Worshiping with gladness in every season is an act of faith, a declaration of trust in His promises and provision regardless of what comes our way. This intentional practice reshapes our hearts, turning our focus from what is lacking to the abundant grace He has already poured into our lives. In doing so, we become living reflections of His light and love, radiating hope and encouragement to those around us.
Let your joy show in the little things today—your smile, the way you speak to others, the kindness you share. Let it influence your surroundings and turn ordinary moments into reflections of God’s goodness, positioning you to become a recipient of His goodness and mercies. What a joy!.

Yet many face poverty, crime, and inequality, with communities struggling to access education, healthcare, and opportunity. While the nation shines through its creativity and strong community ties, there is a deep need for hope, justice, and renewal that touches every part of society.

O Lord, let the Gospel penetrate every community in Jamaica, drawing many to come to know you. In Jesus name
