RIGHTEOUS BY NATURE

When you were born again, God’s seed — His divine life — was planted within you, changing your identity forever. You were recreated in righteousness, and this righteousness is now your nature, not a reward for good behaviour. As you walk in the consciousness of your new nature, sin loses its grip, and holiness becomes your lifestyle.

Audio Version

1 John 3:9 (KJV) – “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

The believer’s righteousness is not a result of moral perfection or human effort — it is the very nature of God imparted to us at the new birth. When you were born again, God’s seed — His divine life — was planted within you, changing your identity forever. You were recreated in righteousness, and this righteousness is now your nature, not a reward for good behaviour.

This understanding is vital because many Christians struggle under the weight of guilt and condemnation, not realizing that the righteousness they carry is unearned and unshakeable. You do not try to be righteous — you are righteous by nature because God’s seed remains in you. This truth empowers you to rise above sin and live in victory over the desires of the flesh.

As you walk in the consciousness of your new nature, sin loses its grip, and holiness becomes your lifestyle. Your actions will begin to reflect your inward reality — a life governed by the Spirit, marked by peace, joy, and power. Today,  walk in this consciousness:  let your confidence rest in the righteousness of Christ within you, and you will live each day in freedom and dominion. Shout a loud Glory to God!

What a powerful revelation today! Take this prophetic declaration from our man of God, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth, with you:
“I declare that the righteousness of God in you will speak louder than guilt and accusation! You will walk boldly in holiness and peace, in Jesus’ name!”

Nation Focus: IRAQ
Iraq, a nation with a rich biblical heritage, has endured decades of war, political instability, and sectarian violence. Christians there face persecution, displacement, and loss of livelihood. Yet, small gatherings of believers continue to meet in homes, holding firmly to their faith despite the risks. The nation longs for healing, peace, and a true encounter with the love of Christ.

Prayer for the Nation
Father, we lift the nation of Iraq before You. Let the power of Your Spirit visit the land and bring peace where there has been turmoil. Heal the wounds of war and division, and restore the hearts of the people to hope again. Raise a new generation of Iraqis who will desire truth, peace, and righteousness in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for the Leaders
Father in the name of Jesus, touch the leaders of Iraq with Your wisdom. Grant them hearts that seek peace over power. Inspire decisions that protect human life, promote justice, and restore order. Silence every voice of corruption and terrorism in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for Israel
Lord, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Bless Israel and surround her with Your divine protection. Cause Your covenant of peace to reign over the nation and her people, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Unity in the Church
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the global Church. Let love overcome division and competition. Teach us to bear one another’s burdens and walk together in purpose. Strengthen the bond of unity across denominations and nations, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Souls / Revival
Oh Lord of the harvest, pour out Your Spirit over the nations of the earth. Let hearts be opened to the Gospel. Save families, restore the broken, and draw the lost into Your kingdom. Let there be revival in homes, cities, and communities, in Jesus’ name.
