A NEW MAN IN CHRIST

To be in Christ is not to be improved or rehabilitated—it is to be made entirely new. The old nature with its guilt, shame, bondage, and limitations is gone forever. Stop rehearsing the past. Rise into your new identity in Christ, for you are a new man—alive to God, filled with His Spirit, and shining with His glory.

Audio Version

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Many believers struggle because they continue to see themselves through the lens of the past. They carry old labels, dwell on past failures, or accept old limitations. But heaven does not call you by who you were; it calls you by who you are in Christ.

The new birth is the greatest miracle of all. To be in Christ is not to be improved or rehabilitated—it is to be made entirely new. The old nature with its guilt, shame, bondage, and limitations is gone forever. In its place stands a new man, recreated in the likeness of God, filled with His Spirit, and destined for glory.

This new creation reality is not an idea to admire but a truth to live by. To walk in this new life, you must renew your mind daily with the Word. As you meditate on what Christ has done, your perspective changes. You begin to think as He thinks, speak as He  speaks, and act as He acts. You are no longer defined by weakness but by divine strength. You no longer live in defeat but in victory.

Being a new man also means new authority. You carry the name of Jesus, the power of the Spirit, and the promises of the Father. Sin has lost its grip, fear has lost its hold, and darkness has lost its claim. You are free to live boldly, to pursue destiny, and to manifest the Kingdom wherever you go.

Therefore, stop rehearsing the past. Stop answering to old names. Rise into your new identity in Christ, for you are a new man—alive to God, filled with His Spirit, and shining with His glory. Shout a loud hallelujah!

Nation Focus: Indonesia

Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, yet within its islands the Gospel continues to shine. Though Christians face opposition, discrimination, and at times persecution, the Church is growing steadily and courageously. House fellowships, underground gatherings, and missionary movements are spreading the light of Christ into unreached regions where Jesus has not yet been named. With more than 270 million people and thousands of ethnic groups, Indonesia represents one of the greatest mission fields of our time. The harvest is vast, but the laborers remain few. As the Spirit strengthens believers to endure, Indonesia stands on the edge of a great awakening—one where the fire of revival can sweep across its islands and multitudes will come to know Jesus as Lord.
