Audio Version
2 Corinthians 3:18 – “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
The work of salvation does not end at forgiveness of sins—it begins a lifelong journey of transformation into the image of Christ. God’s desire is that when the world sees us, they should see Jesus revealed through our words, actions, and character.
This change is not the product of striving or religious activity, but of beholding. To behold is to focus, to set your eyes continually on Christ until His reality overshadows everything else. When you give God your attention in prayer, meditation, and worship, the Spirit takes what you see in Him and reproduces it in you. Just as a mirror reflects an image, your spirit reflects the glory you gaze upon.
Further more, transformation is progressive—“from glory to glory.” This means there is no final ceiling until Christ returns. Every encounter with God lifts you higher, purges something old, and deposits something new. The impatience of yesterday gives way to calm endurance, anger is replaced with compassion, fear bows to courage, and self is crucified so that Christ may live fully in you.
Therefore, make beholding your daily practice. Look into the mirror of the Word, spend time in His presence through worship, and refuse to live by yesterday’s level. The Spirit is committed to moving you from glory to glory until Christ is fully formed in you. Say Amen!
We hope you were blessed by today’s devotional.

Start-up Prayer
Father, I thank you for your word to me today. I ask that by Your Spirit, you transform me daily into the image of Christ, from glory to glory, in Jesus’ name.
Let us now lift our voices in prayer for a nation in need.
Nation Focus: Indonesia
Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, yet within its islands the Gospel continues to shine. Though Christians face opposition, discrimination, and at times persecution, the Church is growing steadily and courageously. House fellowships, underground gatherings, and missionary movements are spreading the light of Christ into unreached regions where Jesus has not yet been named. With more than 270 million people and thousands of ethnic groups, Indonesia represents one of the greatest mission fields of our time. The harvest is vast, but the laborers remain few. As the Spirit strengthens believers to endure, Indonesia stands on the edge of a great awakening—one where the fire of revival can sweep across its islands and multitudes will come to know Jesus as Lord.
Prayer for a Nation – Indonesia
