Proverbs 28:1(KJV) – “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
While many may struggle with fear and anxiety, stirred by news of unstable economies and a sense of uncertainty about the future, God’s Word calls His children to a different response in faith; to be fearless and bold as a lion in the face of these challenges.
This boldness is an unshakable confidence that comes from knowing God, and knowing who you are in Him. It means you refuse to let your surroundings dictate your expectations. You may see rising cost of living, hear talk of layoffs, or be confronted with reports that look impossible to overcome, but you know your life is not defined by these things. Your focus is on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
One way to build and maintain this boldness is in the place of prayer. As you pray, especially in the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God strengthens your inner man, reminds you of who you are, and fills you with divine courage. In those moments, peace replaces panic, clarity replaces confusion, and faith silences fear. While fear says, “Wait until things improve,” your faith says, “Move because God is with you.”
It is with this boldness that you will be able to start that business, apply for that role, write that book, or pursue that vision, not because the conditions are perfect, but because you know you are established in the righteousness of God. And when you step out, you do so with the backing of your Father, the Maker of heaven and earth. So, step out in faith, and respond to every daunting situation with the boldness of a lion. Move with the confidence that God is with you because He is.

Nation Focus: Hungary
Hungary, located in the heart of Central Europe, carries a deep cultural and religious history shaped largely by Roman Catholicism and Reformed traditions. While many identify as Christian, secularism and spiritual complacency have grown in recent decades. The Nation also navigates political polarization and economic challenges that affect social stability. Yet, in the midst of cultural change, there are signs of renewed hunger for authentic faith. Hungary needs a move of God that will revive its Churches, and rekindle biblical conviction.
