PURSUE PURITY

Purity is not flawlessness; it is the refusal to be double-hearted, to mix carnality with devotion. A pure heart is singular in desire—it longs for God without distraction, compromise, or mixture.

Matthew 5:8 – “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”

One of the most sacred blessings in all of scripture is found in our opening verse: “They shall see God.”  It is not a mere statement—it is an invitation into the realm of spiritual intimacy.

To see God is to discern His presence, perceive His guidance, and behold His glory. It is the highest reward a man can attain, and it is reserved not for the religious, but for the pure in heart.

Jesus didn’t say, “Blessed are the perfect,” but rather “the pure in heart.” Purity is not flawlessness; it is the refusal to be double-hearted, to mix carnality with devotion. A pure heart is singular in desire—it longs for God without distraction, compromise, or mixture.

Today, set your heart before the Lord. Ask Him to expose every hidden stain—resentment, envy, secret pride, or impure motives. Ask for fire to cleanse and grace to remain pure, because the greatest blessing of consecration is not public applause, but the privilege of seeing God. Halleluyah.

Nation Focus: Ethiopia

Ethiopia is a nation rich in history, culture, and spiritual heritage located in the Horn of Africa. It is known as the birthplace of coffee and one of the oldest Christian nations in the world, with Christianity dating back to the 4th century. Despite this rich heritage, Ethiopia faces ongoing challenges including poverty, ethnic tensions, and struggles with access to education and healthcare. The nation has a diverse population with over 80 ethnic groups, and Christianity remains the predominant religion, though Islam and traditional beliefs also have a significant presence. There is a great need for spiritual revival, unity among different groups, and divine intervention in leadership and governance.
