- Obadiah 1:17 -“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
Our opening scripture does more than offer a promise, it reveals a spiritual location where the will of God is executed and spiritual transactions are made. Mount Zion represents the presence of God, and the place of spiritual authority. It is here, in the atmosphere of holiness and deliverance, that God’s people are equipped to take back what rightfully belongs to them.
Many believers live unaware of their inheritance. The enemy’s tactics often involve delay, deception, and distraction, keeping us from recognizing or accessing the blessings prepared for us. But the light of God’s truth exposes every lie. You are not a beggar in the kingdom. You are an heir. Your peace, healing, restoration, provision, and purpose are not up for negotiation; they are secured in Christ.
So, stay rooted in the Word, in prayer, and in worship. Let God’s presence change your perspective. Stop agreeing with the voice of loss and delay. Instead, rise in faith, decree restoration and by all means, take possession of all that is yours. The time has come to take back all the devil stole you. It is time to possess your possession. Hallelujah!
STARTUP PRAYER
Father, help me to be conscious of my inheritance in You. I refuse to walk in fear or doubt. I lay hold on all you have given me, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
DOMINICA
Dominica faces significant socio-economic challenges, including a struggling economy reliant on bananas, poor infrastructure, and devastating weather patterns. The country suffered greatly from Hurricane Maria in 2017, displacing 50,000 people. Spiritually, while 92% claim to be Christian, nominalism is rising and practicing Christians are decreasing. The Church faces challenges in accessing resources and leadership, particularly in the isolated in some regions. However, Evangelical Christianity has seen growth, and the country’s suffering has created opportunities for the Body of Christ to manifest God’s love.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You revive the Church in this nation, grant them renewed passion for Your Word and presence.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray against corruption and greed among the leaders of this nation. Cause them to be transparent in all their decisions and lead with integrity.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Oh Lord, remember your covenant with Israel. Let every plot to dispossess them of their inheritance be destroyed, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus. we shut down all operations of darkness in the church. We decree that You alone are worthy of our worship.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus. Let a holy fear for eternity fill the hearts of unsaved souls, that salvation may come to them.
