Matthew 6:26 – “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Worry often clouds our minds in times of financial struggles, uncertainty, or lack. But Jesus reminds us in Matt 6:26 that if God provides for the birds, how much more will He take care of you?
Throughout the Bible, we see God’s faithfulness in provision. He fed Elijah through ravens (1 Kings 17:6), provided manna for Israel in the wilderness (Exodus 16:35), and multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed thousands (Matthew 14:19-21). God’s supply is never limited by circumstances—He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14).
No matter what you face today, trust that God sees, knows, and will provide. Align your heart with His promises, and expect His provision to manifest in ways beyond your imagination. Hallelujah!
START-UP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your love and care for me. I ask that you open my eyes to see all the provisions available to me, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CONGO
The majority of Congolese identify as Christian, but most do not authentically claim Christ as the only means of salvation. Many hold a superficial belief in basic Christian ideas combined with animistic rituals and idols. The Marxist government (1968-1991) expelled most mission organizations and reared a generation of children disconnected from any form of spiritual life. False beliefs and practices are rampant within the Church. There is great need for Bible-believing pastors to disciple their congregation.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we pray for Congo’s education sector, raise godly teachers and mentors who will guide the next generation in the path of righteousness, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, grant the leaders of this nation wisdom to create educational policies that will uplift the nation and propagate the gospel in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You break the strongholds of religious traditions that the people may come to know You, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we pray that the focus of the church will be to bring Glory to Your name and not their own, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause Your fire of revival to burn in the hearts of the unsaved in the nations of the earth that they may receive the gospel, in Jesus’ name.
