Devotional Text
1 Peter 5:10- “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
As a believer, there are seasons in your life that God permits you to go through challenges. He does this to enable you to develop the capacity to endure hard times and to look to Him to walk you through it all. He is very particular about testing you in order to prepare you for the life He destined for you before you were born.
Our opening scripture reminds us that God has the power to perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. This means that no matter what you face, the aim is not to break you but to bring you into establishment and restoration.
God’s grace is sufficient to bring you through and position you for His reward. He uses challenges to build endurance and faith in you. When you embrace His grace, you will find stability even in uncertain times, knowing that He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28, James 1:2-4).
As you step out today, choose to walk by grace. Do not allow difficulties to shake your faith, but rather, lean on God’s promises and trust in His process. His grace is more than enough to sustain you, and in due time, He will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you (Psalm 28:7). Glory to God!

PRAYER FOR A NATION
CHAD
The nation has been ripped apart by civil war, and 80% of the population lives below the poverty line. The government, as is common in Africa, is known for its high levels of corruption. A Muslim minority group, the Zaghawa, control the majority of the government, trade, and armed forces. Chad has been torn apart as a nation and as a Church. Unification and reconciliation are desperately needed.
