Isaiah 52:12 (KJV) – “For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.”
As a child of God, you can make continuous and consistent progress in every aspect of your life. Our scriptural text assures us that when God leads, you will have no need to rush in anxiety or flee in fear. Instead, you can take steps towards your goals and plans with confidence, knowing that God has gone ahead to prepare the way. You may face obstacles, delays, or resistance, but your trust in the Lord will enable you navigate through it all and advance towards your goals.
However, advancement requires both obedience and faith. Sometimes, the greatest obstacles come from within; fear, doubt, or reluctance to leave behind what is familiar. At other times, external forces attempt to slow us down, such as opposition from people who do not believe in your vision, unexpected setbacks like financial difficulties, or discouraging circumstances that shake your confidence. Yet, with God on your side, nothing can stand in your way. He will make the crooked paths straight and remove every obstacles (Isaiah 45:2).
Today, choose not to let fear or uncertainty slow you down. As you yield to God’s guidance, He will empower you to overcome all hindrances and step into the opportunities He has orchestrated for your rising. Hallelujah!
START-UP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your presence in my life. I ask for grace to pursue my dreams with all confidence. Help me to eradicate fear, doubt, and anxiety in all that I set out to accomplish this year. Let it be evident that you are ahead of me, causing things to fall in pleasant places for me, in Jesus’ name.

CAPE VERDE
Catholicism had a privileged position until Cape Verde’s independence, and while nearly 90% of nationals still identify themselves as Catholic, the Church is synchronized with superstitions and African fetishism. Cape Verdeans have also had a longstanding Nazarene presence, and Pentecostals have seen increase in numbers, nearly 6% annually. Local leaders are needed to rise up and disciple others as geographical isolation and a unique dialect have prevented spiritual growth amongst many national believers.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for fresh fire and hunger for Your Word in the hearts of believers in this nation. Cause the gospel to advance unhindered to every community, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that the seed of righteousness will grow in the hearts of the leaders in this nation. Cause them to govern with integrity and establish policies that align with Your will for the people, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, we ask for a record-breaking revival in Israel, that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Lord Jesus will be opened to know the truth and surrender totally to your Lordship, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you rid the church of every worker of iniquity causing divisions and contention. Let everything that seeks to turn the hearts of Your people away from You be dismantled, in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we bind every stronghold of deception, hindering the unsaved from embracing Your light. Take away the foreskins of their hearts that they may serve You all the days of their lives in Jesus’ name.
