GUARD YOUR HEART
Luke 6:45 KJV
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”
Life’s challenges often begin in the heart. Many people struggle to maintain peace and joy because their hearts are filled with disappointments, unguarded imaginations, and memories of negative experiences. The battle Satan wages against you isn’t just external—it’s a subtle internal attack aimed at capturing your heart. Once he gains access to your heart, he can plant seeds of doubt, fear, and confusion that invariably affects your faith in God.
Your heart is the womb that nurtures and carries all that God has ordained for your life. Every aspect of your existence proceeds from it, making its condition of utmost importance. The state of your heart at any given time directly impacts your provision, destiny, and future. This profound truth is the reason we are urged in the Word to guard our hearts with all wisdom, for out of it are the issues of life.
Therefore today, be intentional about what you allow into your heart and mind. Choose to think only excellent thoughts. Stop allowing the pressures of life to corrupt your heart. Make up your mind today to guard that power house diligently by doing this, you groom your heart to bring forth God’s perfect will in your life. Glory to God!
