WALK WITH INTEGRITY

Integrity is an attribute of God, and as His children, we must learn to stand firm in truth, even when it is difficult. When we honour God with our words and actions, He rewards us with His blessings.

Audio Version

  • Matthew 5:37 – “But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil” Every now and then, people feel pressured to say “yes” when they should say “no,” fearing rejection, conflict, or loss. However, a person of integrity is always truthful, irrespective of the consequences. When we commit to honesty, we reflect the character of God, who is always faithful and true.

The story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-11 is an example of the dangers of dishonesty. They sold a piece of property and pretended to give all the proceeds to the church while secretly keeping a portion for themselves. When asked by Peter, both Ananias and Sapphira lied and faced immediate judgment from God. Their deceit cost them their lives, showing that dishonesty leads to destruction. If they had chosen integrity and admitted the truth, the outcome would have been different.

Integrity is an attribute of God, and as His children, we must learn to stand firm in truth, even when it is difficult. When we honour God with our words and actions, He rewards us with His blessings. Hallelujah!

    STARTUP PRAYER

    PRAYER FOR A NATION

    COTE D’IVOIRE

Côte d’Ivoire is largely split between its primarily Muslim north and Christian south, with approximately 41% claiming Islam and 33% Christianity. Even so, syncretism of Christianity with traditional African beliefs continues to be widespread and detrimental to the Church. Due to the cost of books and Biblical resources, theological materials are limited. A solid understanding of Scripture is greatly needed throughout the Church in Côte d’Ivoire and among its leaders and Pastors.
