God has never thought small about you. His plans for you are not vague, they are intentional and rich with purpose. You were not created to merely exist or get by. You were designed to flourish, to shine, and to fulfil a divine assignment that glorifies Him. No matter your background or past failures, the thoughts of God concerning you remain good, constant, and full of promise.
However, your level of expectation determines your experience. Setting high expectations is an act of faith anchored in God’s unchanging Word. When your expectations align with His promises, your behaviour changes. Instead of living pessimistically or in doubt, you begin to anticipate the best in every situation because you trust that the One who created you has your best interest at heart and will never let you be at the mercy of the enemy.
So today, commit your goals and aspirations to Him. Set high expectations and hold fast to His promises, because He will never fail you or disappoint you. Go to Him in prayer daily as an expression of your dependence and confidence in His ability to bring to pass the desires of your heart. As you do, you will see His wonders manifest in your life in ways you never imagined. Hallelujah!
STARTUP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the great plans You have for me. Help me to walk in faith, holding fast to Your promises and aligning my heart with Your will.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CURACAO
Curacao faces significant challenges. Despite its strong economy, driven by tourism and oil refining, the island struggles with widespread misunderstanding of the Gospel message. Many Christians are nominal or superstitious, and marginal sects are growing. Bible literacy and discipleship are key to renewing the Christian population. The island’s history of religious freedom has not translated to a deep understanding of Christianity. As a result, many people lack a personal relationship with God. This spiritual void hinders the nation’s overall well-being
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the eyes of the understanding of the people in Curacao will be enlightened that the people may come to the knowledge of you.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You give the leaders of Curacao a heart that acknowledges and submits to you in all their ways.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You grant wisdom to Israel’s leaders and guide them by Your mighty hand that they may lead your people in peace and prosperity.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You fill the hearts of believers all around the world with love and compassion, that we walk in love and unity according to your will in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that You send labourers into the harvest field, that they may preach the Gospel with boldness, leading many into Your kingdom.
