Knowledge is a powerful tool that can transform our lives and help us reach our full potential. When we acquire knowledge, we gain a deeper understanding and we’re better equipped to navigate its complexities.
Our opening text highlights the importance of knowledge in our growth and development. By seeking knowledge and understanding, we can deepen our relationship with God and become more like Him. We also gain deeper insight into the things around us.
However, the pursuit of knowledge is a lifelong journey, and it is essential to cultivate a love for learning and a desire for wisdom. By seeking knowledge and applying it to our lives, we can make informed decisions, solve problems effectively, and live more purposeful, fulfilling lives. Therefore, as you navigate today, make seeking knowledge a top priority.
STARTUP PRAYER:
Father, in the name of Jesus. Help me to embrace desire and pursue knowledge that I may step into new opportunities with confidence, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
COTE D’IVOIRE
Côte d’Ivoire is largely split between its primarily Muslim north and Christian south, with approximately 41% claiming Islam and 33% Christianity. Yet even amid national division, the Church is growing in unity through partnerships in radio broadcasting, publishing, and much more. These types of partnerships have become powerful avenues for the Gospel. Even so, syncretism of Christianity with traditional African beliefs continues to be widespread and detrimental to the Church. Due to the cost of books and Biblical resources, theological materials are limited. A solid understanding of Scripture is greatly needed throughout the Church in Côte d’Ivoire and among its leaders and Pastors.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we ask that your knowledge will flood this land as the waters cover the sea, that there will breakthroughs in the distribution in biblical resources in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR LEADERS
Father, we pray for the leaders of this nation. Grant them wisdom, integrity, and a heart to serve according to Your will, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Oh Lord, we pray for Israel, Your chosen nation. Let Your peace rest upon Jerusalem, and may Your hand of protection be over the people. In Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we ask that You unite Your Church, that they may stand together in faith, strengthening one another and advancing Your kingdom, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, we cry out for a great harvest of souls. Let hearts be opened to receive the gospel, and let revival break out in our communities, in Jesus name.
