Audio Version
- Luke 9:17 -“And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.” In the miracle of feeding the five thousand, Jesus not only provided abundantly but also ensured that nothing was wasted. After everyone had eaten and was satisfied, He instructed the disciples to collect the leftovers which filled twelve baskets. This act teaches us an important lesson: God’s blessings should not be wasted. Whether it is our time, resources, or opportunities, we are called to be good stewards of all that He has given us.
Doing away with waste requires a mindset of gratitude and responsibility. By acknowledging that everything we have comes from God, we begin to use all that we have wisely. Instead of letting our time slip away in distractions, we can invest it in purposeful work. Instead of disregarding small opportunities, we can make the most of them, trusting that God can multiply our efforts just as He multiplied the loaves and fish.
To live a life free of waste, we must seek God’s wisdom in how we manage our resources. This involves planning, discipline, and a heart that desires to use everything for God’s glory. When we live with this mindset, we reflect God’s character and will experience the fullness of His provision in every area of our lives. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION
COTE D’IVOIRE
Côte d’Ivoire is largely split between its primarily Muslim north and Christian south, with approximately 41% claiming Islam and 33% Christianity. Yet even amid national division, the Church is growing in unity through partnerships in radio broadcasting, publishing, and much more. These types of partnerships have become powerful avenues for the Gospel. Even so, syncretism of Christianity with traditional African beliefs continues to be widespread and detrimental to the Church. Due to the cost of books and Biblical resources, theological materials are limited. A solid understanding of Scripture is greatly needed throughout the Church in Côte d’Ivoire and among its leaders and Pastors.
