As our Heavenly Father, God is fully invested in our lives. He sees every detail, knows every decision, and understands every desire. And because He loves us, He disciplines us – not to punish us, but to guide us, to correct us, and to keep us on the right path.
When God withholds something from us or allows us to go through challenges, it is not because He is against us, but because He is for us. He is protecting us from our own desires that might lead us astray, and He is refining us to be more like Christ. Discipline is how He expresses His unchanging Love for us. Amazing right?
Today, begin to develop trust in God’s ways and embrace his discipline and chastisement. Refuse to succumb to the lies and deception of the enemy that God does not love you. God loves you and He is working everything out for your good, even when you do not understand.
Surrender to His guidance and trust that He is keeping you on track. When you embrace God’s discipline, you will experience the peace, joy, and freedom that comes from walking in His ways. may Hallelujah!
STARTUP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your Love for me. Help me to be fully yielded to Your chastening, that I may grow into the person You destined me to be.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CYPRUS
Cyprus has struggled to achieve stability since gaining independence from Britain in 1960. A 1974 Turkish invasion and occupation of the north has divided the island, creating 230,000 refugees. The island remains divided, with the Republic of Cyprus and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus having separate governments. Negotiations for reunification have been ongoing since 2008, but progress is slow. Cyprus is struggling with severe economic challenges, with heavy exposure to bad foreign debt and a declining tourism industry. The country also struggles with negative prejudices against Evangelical and Protestant churches.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for a spiritual awakening in Cyprus, that the people may know and follow You.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the leaders of Cyprus, that they may make choices that align with Your will for the nation.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that Israel will come into alignment with your purposes and plans.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You establish your will in the churches around the world.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that send labourers into the harvest field, that many may come to know and serve You.
