Galatians 2:20 – “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Our opening text shows us that the old self has been crucified with Christ, and now He’s the one living through us. In other words, it is no longer us in the driver’s seat, but Christ living in us. This paint a picture of a deep, transformative union with Christ. As we die to the flesh and surrender to Him, our lives become a reflection of His love, power, and character.
Dying to self does not imply losing your identity; it means discovering your true identity in Christ. And when He lives through you, your life becomes a vessel for His grace, purpose, and power. When self is dethroned, Christ is enthroned.
Take sometime today to reflect on Jesus and what He represents. He gave up everything just to save you. Ask the holy ghost to help you die to your fleshly desires that you may please Him more.
As you do this, you will see His hand in every area of your life. Remember, when he leads, peace and prosperity is sure. Hallelujah!
STARTUP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for sacrificing Your life for me. Help me to be just like You, that everything I do may be to please You and not myself.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CYPRUS
Cyprus has struggled to achieve stability since gaining independence from Britain in 1960. A 1974 Turkish invasion and occupation of the north has divided the island, creating 230,000 refugees. The island remains divided, with the Republic of Cyprus and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus having separate governments. Negotiations for reunification have been ongoing since 2008, but progress is slow. Cyprus is struggling with severe economic challenges, with heavy exposure to bad foreign debt and a declining tourism industry. The country also struggles with negative prejudices against Evangelical and Protestant churches.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we bind every force of darkness militating against the prosperity of Cyprus, that the nation and the people may flourish.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You raise leaders in Cyprus that will serve the people and lead them in the path of prosperity.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You make Israel a sign and a wonder to all her enemies.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will bind us together in love that we may serve and reach the world for your kingdom.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause Your Spirit to be poured upon the lost in the metropolis, that there may be mass repentance and salvation across the nations
